


Tanzania Institute of Quantity Surveyors (TIQS) was officially launched on 28th April 1987. It is now under the revise Act of 2000 for Architects and Quantity Surveyors, as a members’ representative body of all professional quantity surveyors and aspiring quantity surveyors registered and working in Tanzania.
TIQS is charged with the responsibility of supporting, developing and protecting the character, status and fostering the best interests of the Quantity Surveying and allied professions as well as uphold the professional ethics and code of practice to its members who are daily serving the public and private sectors in the country.
